Fee Details for Common University Entrance Test (UG) – 2023:
Note– The fee can be submitted only online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator.
CUET UG Eligibility Criteria
For appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) – 2023 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria (if any) of the University (ies) to which they are desirous of taking admission.
Note:
- The university will check quota, category, relaxation, subject combination, etc.
- Eligibility criteria may be different for each university, you are advised to visit universities’ websites.
- Only passing the test is not the security for admission, check all the eligibilities for the university or course in which you want to take admission.
CUET UG Syllabus and Pattern
Section IA & IB: Language to be tested through Read comprehension (based on different types of passages-Factual, Literary, and Narrative, [Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary].
Section III: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of primary mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8), Logical, and Analytical Reasoning
MARKING SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
For Multiple Choice Questions: To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer.Â
(i) Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
(ii) Any incorrectly marked option will be deducted one point (-1).
(iii) Unanswered/Marked for Review questions will receive no credit.
(iv) If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
(v) If all options are found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
*(vi) If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is
 dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five
 marks(+5) marks.

- Merely appearing in CUET (UG) – 2023 does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the desirous University.
- The selection and admission are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents, and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the University, and the candidate who is applying for.
- Admissions are handled at the level of each of the Central Universities (CUs) for their respective programs. After the NTA declares the CUET (UG) – 2023 result by NTA, the respective CUs will declare the counseling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (UG) – 2023 score and the other criteria of the separate University. For all admission-related procedures/queries, the candidates are advised to refer to the applied Universities’ Website after the declaration of the result of CUET (UG) – 2023.
- NTA does not have any role in the preparation of the Merit List.
